There is the sound of a Newton's Cradle which we see clacking in the foreground on his desk. We can also hear the faint sounds of a cityscape through his bedroom window. Ted is nervous and adjusting his clothes. He goes to look out the window. 'What...the...hell? Everything's just...STOPPED. The birds...the people. Nothing's...MOVING. Th-that's IMPOSSIBLE. It's like time is just...FROZEN,' Ted says in stunned disbelief.
Ted looks down at his hand, only now noticing he still is idly holding the open watch in his hand. It starts to dawn on him that the watch did this. He looks out at the frozen city in awe, gazing back and forth between the city and the watch a few times. He seems to get an idea. As he stares out the window, he snaps the clock closed.
Instantaneously, the sounds of the cityscape whoosh back in and the clock hand begins moving again. Everything has become unfrozen. Ted stares, stunned into silence, for several seconds. 'Gabi...' he finally whispers.

Sound and movement slow to a stop for everyone but Ted. Gabi's words cut off as she freezes, hand out.
Ted gets up slowly from his chair and paces the room, slowly walking and examining the guests. He seems bitter and disgusted at their happy expressions. He looks at Gabi first, then over to Drake with jealousy, then enters the kitchen briefly to circle Pat and Leslie making sure they're frozen - waving his hand in front of their faces and snapping his fingers in front of their eyes. Ted takes a deep breath, exhaling heavily as he calms down, glancing at the pocket watch and considering what to do.
Ted resumes his spot at the dining room table, sighing. He looks back at Gabi, Drake beside her, her hand held out to Ted showing off the ring. His expression turns possessive as he gazes at her. He readies himself and reaches out to touch her outstretched hand.
Gabi unfreezes and immediately panics when she discovers everyone else is frozen except her and Ted. She tries to wake Drake up but can't. Ted explains that the pocket watch can stop time. Marcy is more nervous now, lying again and lamely saying that it could've rolled under his door... She's still trying to act sweet and bubbly, although Dylan is not swayed. She attempts to steer them away from the conversation and asks what he's doing back so soon? Dylan says that he forgot his briefcase in his rush to take care of Marcy. He gestures to the very briefcase that Marcy had looked through earlier. 'Funny, I don't remember it being open when I left,' Dylan says in a cold, knowing voice.
Marcy tries to make more excuses, going on the defensive, though none of her arguments are convincing. In fact, they make her look even more suspicious. Dylan declares in a low, firm tone that there's more to this than she's telling him. What is she REALLY doing in his bedroom? She tries to bring up the earring again but is cut off by Dylan. 'Don't start lying to me again,' he interrupts her.
Dylan then snags Marcy's phone and looks at the screen. 'LEO wants to know if you 'found anything valuable in the bedroom,'' he says mockingly. 'I don't know what you're talking about. You're misreading that. It's just my boyfriend checking that I made it here all right,' Marcy says. 'You were going to rob me, weren't you, you and this Leo,' Dylan states. While she still tries to defend herself, he starts calling the cops on her phone, saying, 'We'll just see what the cops have to say about this.'
'Please don't call the police. I can't go to jail, I didn't even do anything,' Marcy begs, now approaching him in a desperate attempt to woo him over again. She falls to her knees and paws at him, saying that no one was hurt, and she didn't even take anything. He can even look in her backpack to check for sure! She CAN'T go to jail. She'll do ANYTHING if Dylan just lets it slide.
'Anything?' Dylan questions in a way that sends shivers down Marcy's spine. She's in too deep to back out now, especially with freedom just at her fingertips. 'Anything,' she breathes.
Marcy lets out a shuddery sigh of relief when he agrees and hangs up. She then asks what he wants her to do -- cook, clean? Dylan looks her over and says that she's a pretty woman, and smart, too, so she should be able to figure out what he wants from her in exchange for his silence. When Marcy realizes that he wants to fuck her, she is horrified -- she has a boyfriend! She rants and raves about how ridiculous the request is, but Dylan is calm and collected the whole time. In the end, he says it's her choice, though Marcy realizes that, with the options she's been given, it's hardly much of a choice at all.

THE DATE
We watch a beautiful young woman (Emily Willis) in her apartment getting ready for the evening. She showers, lotions up her body, puts on expensive perfume, and dresses -- first into expensive black satin lingerie, stockings, garters, and heels and then slipping into a beige rain jacket. She looks like she just walked off a runway. The camera voyeuristically watches her, almost like a reverse striptease.
CUT TO the woman, in her jacket, bare legs and heels, as she exits her building and steps into a black town car. A man waiting for her shuts the door and gets into the driver seat.
CUT TO a car mount shot, looking in at the silent driver in a black suit and ray bans, and the girl who sits in the middle of the back seat. To her right is a very handsome man (Danny Mountain) in an expensive suit. A second man (Charles Dera), equally handsome and dressed the same, sits on her left.
CUT TO the road. As they drive, the man in the back asks the woman if she is ready. Obediently, she says 'yes.' He asks if she will give herself over completely. She says 'yes.' He strips her out of her jacket, exposing her bare skin. She quivers. He takes a brown paper bag and puts it over her head, before holding her arms to keep her still. They ride for a moment with her body writhing. The men look cool and collected, staring straight ahead. All you can hear are the light gasps and moans from the submissive woman as she is being driven, eagerly awaiting what's to come.
