SCENE OPENS to Marcy (Natasha Nice) walking up the steps of a home, a backpack slung over her shoulder. Dylan (Mickey Mod), a young man in a business suit, opens the door and greets Marcy. Marcy is warm and bubbly, and cute to boot, introducing herself to Dylan, asking if he's the cool dude that's hosting her. Dylan, a little flustered with this attractive and inviting young woman, cheerfully says that that's him! He welcomes her inside, telling her that although they used a couchsurfing-slash-couch-crashing app, she doesn't actually have to stay on the actual couch. He has a guest room that she can use.
Marcy is pleased for the guest room, and follows along as he leads her to it. However, when Dylan's not looking, she shiftily looks around, as if making note of where everything is.
Once she's shown to her room, Marcy giggles and hugs into Dylan, thanking him for letting her stay. It's so hard on the Internet since nobody's as they seem. Dylan's a little bashful at the attention. After they pull away, he says he'll leave her to get settled and that he's in the kitchen if she wants anything. He then leaves her be. As he does, Marcy's smile fades. She takes out her cellphone, and texts 'I'm in!' to someone, then grins.

CUT TO Marcy joining Dylan in the kitchen, sneakily taking pictures of Dylan's valuables along the way with her cellphone, including a fancy camera. She asks about the camera, saying that her boyfriend is a photographer. Dylan seems a little taken aback that Marcy has a boyfriend, though remains friendly. 'He doesn't mind you going off on adventures on your own?' he asks. 'Nah, I'm a big girl,' she responds with a flirty grin.
As if fearing she might be saying too much, she turns her attention back onto Dylan, distracting him with small talk. Whenever he's distracted, she continues taking pictures of expensive belongings that are left out in the open.
Dylan then realizes what time it is. 'Shoot, I'm going to be late,' he scolds himself, looking a little frantic. She playfully tells him to hurry up and get to work. He doesn't need to entertain her. She has plans for the day, anyway. 'Okay, if you're sure, although I'm happy to. Oh, that reminds me!' He grabs a spare set of house keys and gives it to her. 'That way you're not stuck here,' he says with a laugh. She smiles and thanks him for the keys, then cheerfully sees him off.
As soon as Dylan's gone, she checks her phone again and sees a text. The words praise her on what she's taken pictures of so far and encourages her to check out the bedroom.
Marcy makes her way to the bedroom, then begins checking drawers and closets. She sees a briefcase and opens it, but there's just some boring papers in there, so she closes it and continues on. Her eyes then fall on the bed and she hums with curiosity as she crouches down and peeks under. There's a box there that catches her attention. 'Jackpot!' Her eyes light up and she reaches beneath the bed to try and reach it, placing her phone beside her on the floor. She has to stretch her arm far, her fingers almost close enough to grasp the box when a strong voice booms behind her, 'What are you doing?!'
Marcy recoils and kneels up, shocked to see Dylan in the doorway. He looks just as shocked, even angry. She jumps to her feet and lies, greeting him and saying that she lost an earring and was just looking around the house. Even as she says this, she's clearly nervous, stuttering a little. Dylan raises a brow and asks what the earring would even be doing in HIS room since she shouldn't have been in there. His tone is much more different, and he is no longer a friendly, bashful young man.
Marcy is more nervous now, lying again and lamely saying that it could've rolled under his door... She's still trying to act sweet and bubbly, although Dylan is not swayed. She attempts to steer them away from the conversation and asks what he's doing back so soon? Dylan says that he forgot his briefcase in his rush to take care of Marcy. He gestures to the very briefcase that Marcy had looked through earlier. 'Funny, I don't remember it being open when I left,' Dylan says in a cold, knowing voice.
Marcy tries to make more excuses, going on the defensive, though none of her arguments are convincing. In fact, they make her look even more suspicious. Dylan declares in a low, firm tone that there's more to this than she's telling him. What is she REALLY doing in his bedroom? She tries to bring up the earring again but is cut off by Dylan. 'Don't start lying to me again,' he interrupts her.
Dylan then snags Marcy's phone and looks at the screen. 'LEO wants to know if you 'found anything valuable in the bedroom,'' he says mockingly. 'I don't know what you're talking about. You're misreading that. It's just my boyfriend checking that I made it here all right,' Marcy says. 'You were going to rob me, weren't you, you and this Leo,' Dylan states. While she still tries to defend herself, he starts calling the cops on her phone, saying, 'We'll just see what the cops have to say about this.'
'Please don't call the police. I can't go to jail, I didn't even do anything,' Marcy begs, now approaching him in a desperate attempt to woo him over again. She falls to her knees and paws at him, saying that no one was hurt, and she didn't even take anything. He can even look in her backpack to check for sure! She CAN'T go to jail. She'll do ANYTHING if Dylan just lets it slide.
'Anything?' Dylan questions in a way that sends shivers down Marcy's spine. She's in too deep to back out now, especially with freedom just at her fingertips. 'Anything,' she breathes.
Marcy lets out a shuddery sigh of relief when he agrees and hangs up. She then asks what he wants her to do -- cook, clean? Dylan looks her over and says that she's a pretty woman, and smart, too, so she should be able to figure out what he wants from her in exchange for his silence. Larry (Derrick Pierce) is being escorted down a hallway by security. He is wearing a Santa Claus outfit. He is nervous as he tries to make small talk with security, asking if they've finished their Christmas shopping yet, but he's ignored.
There is not a smile to be seen on Mr. Willis's face as the mall manager directs Larry to take a seat, gesturing to the chair across from the desk. Larry tries to start with small talk, spotting the framed picture of Mr. Willis's teenage daughter, Carrie Ann (Emily Willis), on the desk. He smiles and asks Mr. Willis how the daughter's doing? She just turned 18 a few weeks ago, right? Mr. Willis curtly responds with 'Yeah, she's 18, but I don't see what that has to do with anything,' and rotates the picture away from Larry, seemingly eager to end the conversation there.
Mr. Willis sternly tells Larry that he's been called in for more pressing matters. There's been a lot of complaints about his behaviour, particularly around female teenagers... Larry looks anxious as he watches Mr. Willis leisurely suck on a candy cane. He tells Mr. Willis that you can't believe anything that teenagers say, really -- they lie! Where's Mr. Willis's Christmas spirit, Larry insists, begging for sympathy. Has has a family to provide for, too. It's right before Christmas! The boss tells Larry again that he needs to leave immediately. If he doesn't, Mr. Willis has no issue getting the cops involved.
'Oh, what, the MALL cops?' Larry mocks. He then tries to attack Mr. Willis, but the same security guard grabs him. Larry argues and shouts the whole time as he's dragged out, looking more and more unhinged, telling Mr. Willis that they're going to pay.

CUT to outside later that day, when Mr. Willis returns home from work. When Mr. Willis is gone, Larry emerges from the backseat of the car with a crowbar.
Larry is decked in his full Santa suit except the beard, Larry himself looking slightly dirty and disheveled, and is slowly dragging a crowbar at his feet as he approaches Mr. Willis's house. He sees Mr. Willis and Carrie Ann through a front window. They look happy as they hang the last few decorations on a Christmas tree. They are talking to one another but we only see their lips moving. Carrie Ann is the main focus now, looking so cute and innocent in her Christmas PJs. Now he just has to wait...
When it becomes dark, Larry makes his move. To his surprise, the door is left unlocked and ajar, so he lets himself inside. He carefully creeps through the house, his eyes lingering on anything Christmas-related that paints the household as happy and normal. He stops by the Christmas tree and plucks a candy cane off a branch. Larry then continues stealthily through the house. He pauses briefly as he sees Mr. Willis sleeping in his bedroom, then continues on.
He still has his crowbar with him the whole time, lightly smacking it against his palm or tapping it against his leg as he walks. He continues down a hall, then reaches a door with girly decorations on it, which signals that it belongs to the daughter. He seems to deliberate for a moment - continue down the hall, or change his plans? - then seems to have a change of heart and turns, slowly opening Carrie Ann's door.
Carrie Ann is in a state of deep rest tucked away in bed and is wearing Christmas PJs. Larry slowly approaches her bed, setting the crowbar quietly down. He looms menacingly over her, gazing over her body with the male gaze POV as he slowly pulls down her blanket to get a look at her full body. Even though she's wearing innocent PJs, her shirt's pulled away from her shoulder a bit, showing bare skin. His gloved fingers twitch with anticipation as he slowly reaches out as if to touch her, though he doesn't quite.
She stirs, groggy and disoriented, seemingly confused about the presence of someone else in her room, though she can't see clearly. She rubs at her eyes and sees Larry, squinting at him. 'Santa? Wait, am I dreaming?' she questions. Larry shushes her, saying, 'Yeah, sure, sweetheart. This is a dream, why not?' Now that she's up, he sits down on the bed beside her and runs a hand over her leg, telling her that Santa came to check up on her. She's still a bit groggy and trying to get her bearings. If this is a dream, why does he have a crowbar? Larry pauses a moment and mentions that Santa had to do some emergency repairs on his sleigh, so... Even as he says this, he moves closer to her, being slow and methodical. Although Carrie Ann lightly tries to back away into the bed's headrest at first, admitting that this is a really weird dream, she tells Santa that she thought he'd look... different. He looks... handsome. Larry gives a sleazy disgusting grin and says Santa likes how she looks too in her cute little PJs.
She asks why Santa's here and not downstairs - he tells her that her parent Mr. Willis has been very bad this year and is on Santa's naughty list, but he wanted to give Carrie Ann the chance to prove she belongs on the nice list. When he's gone, Sandra stops holding her tongue and tells her friend that she can't believe how horrible Jenny's older step-brother is. How long has she been putting up with that? Jenny says ever since he moved in with them, two years ago. Sandra tells her that she would never put up with that kind of torment, and Jenny confesses she feels like she has no choice, he's so loud and rude and she's so quiet and reserved that he basically can walk all over her. Sandra tells her that he needs to be taught a lesson, she doesn't deserve that kind of treatment and he'll just keep doing it until he sees there are consequences for his actions. Besides, she says, what if he's doing this kind of thing to other poor girls at school?
Hearing this, Jenny starts to grow a backbone - her friend is right, she would never want anybody else to feel as shitty as he makes her feel. But what could she possibly do to make him so regretful that he would never think of tormenting her again? He obviously doesn't feel bad when she cries or tells him to stop. No, Sandra agrees, bullies like that only understand one language, and that's an eye for an eye. He's been humiliating her, so she needs to do something to make him feel humiliated back. She listens and replies, and from the one-sided conversation, we get the impression that Bill is a business owner calling to complain about losing a city contract bid.
Bill had spent weeks negotiating terms and another company swooped in and got the bid at the last second. Janice puts on a brave face and tries to assure him that everything was above board, and that the winning bid was just at a better rate than what Bill's company was offering, but Bill insists that it's not possible, he has ties with all the local suppliers and there's no way anybody else in town could match his bid. Janice reprimands Bill telling him that if he wants to meet formally to discuss the issue, he's welcome to schedule an appointment, but she warns him that he'd better think twice before speaking to her like that again or he risks closing the door on future negotiations. Bill tells Janice that he's not the only one who thinks things have been fishy lately, and that she'd better remember that it's her constituents who pay her bills each week. Through gritted teeth, Janice thanks Bill for being a concerned citizen, and slams the phone back in the cradle in frustration. As soon as she's hung up, Janice's brave face and confident posture dissolve, and she collapses back into her chair and puts her head on her desk in tears.
CUT TO TITLE PLATE
We cut back to Janice's office an indeterminate time later. She's stopped crying and is back at work, though with none of the confidence or determination she exhibited earlier. She is clearly having trouble concentrating, rubbing her eyes wearily and swearing to herself under her breath. Before long, the door to her office opens and in struts Garrett (Zac Wild), a cocky smarmy-looking businessman who strolls up to greet her and -- rather than sitting on the chair facing her - sits straight on the corner of the desk. Looking uncomfortable, Janice quietly moves her papers and other clutter away from his intrusive form seated on her desk. She tells Garrett that she's very busy right now, and asks what he wants. He says that he's sure she has time for a little chat, she always manages to make time for him. Looking bothered and anxious, Janice gets up from her seat and goes to close her office door discreetly. When she looks back, Garrett is now sitting in her seat. She asks him to get out of her seat, but with none of the forceful tone she used on the phone earlier. Instead, she seems pathetic and desperate here. Garrett gives her a greasy smile and pats his lap, telling her there's plenty of room if she wants to join him. She turns her head, disgusted. Without looking back at Garrett, she asks what he wants.
Garrett explains in a patronizing tone that he's not feeling satisfied with their current arrangement. He wants another favor. Janice looks flabbergasted -- she's already paid him off twice, and she just colluded to get his company his second city contract at a way higher rate than market value. Garrett says yes, that's true, but that's really more to help his business, but now he's getting restless and he feels he wants to work on his personal brand, maybe even get into politics himself. He wants an endorsement from her to run for his own spot on the city council. Janice coldly says absolutely not -- she can't endorse a candidate with no political experience and dubious ties to criminal activity. It'll draw too much attention, and could be career suicide for her. Garrett tells her he thinks she's exaggerating, and feels he'd make a great candidate. He's even come up with the perfect campaign slogan, 'Make America Garrett Again' he jokes.
Janice pleads with him -- he needs to be reasonable. She's given him everything he's asked for, to the point where people are starting to get suspicious. Garrett says that that isn't his problem, and he asks her where all that worry about getting caught was a few months ago when she was embezzling funds from the public office for her personal use. If only she'd been more careful then, she'd never be in this situation now. But she wasn't, and all this is just the universe's way of balancing things out. Janice gets more desperate -- if he wants to keep his leverage, he has to be smart about this. She can't help him if she gets indicted. Maybe they could revisit his proposal in a few months, after things have a chance to die down. Garrett admits that she makes good points, but he's just not a patient guy. What is she going to give him to keep him happy in the meantime? Janice looks completely broken down -- she doesn't have anything left to offer him. He's already taken everything from her -- he's robbed her of her independence, her pride, her happiness. What could possibly be left for him to take?
Garrett stands up from the office chair and says that he can think of one thing, and reaches out to stroke her breasts with his hand. Janice flinches and takes a step back. With a slight turn of his head, not enough to obstruct the camera's view, Gus turns to speak softly to his brother. 'Look at thaaat,' he mutters. Eric winces again. Gus begins describing Darla's features as they watch her change, putting emphasis on how young she looks. 'Don't tell me that doesn't bring out something in you, Ricky. I've watched Darla grow up, and man has she grown. You have eyes just like I do. I know you see it too.' Eric has a pained expression on his face, but despite that he can't help watching Darla change. His breath is ragged, and he's biting his lip hard.
Darla finishes changing, and again Gus convinces her to pose for them. For the first minute, Eric remains stiff and silent, but then something cracks in him. Todd looks heartbroken - why didn't she just say something to him? If she was worried he was going to react badly, she should know him well enough by now that he would respect her wishes. Everyone treats him like he's so damn sensitive, but she never treated him like that, in fact that was one of the reasons he loved spending time with her so much is because he felt she 'got' him. Why did she have to cut him off without so much as an explanation or a goodbye? Rebecca looks uncomfortable - she brushes off his questions and moves to leave but Todd blocks her way. He gets more confrontational - he says he's noticed how she looks miserable, how she doesn't smile in any of the new pictures she's been tagged in, how her body language has changed to shut herself off from everyone. He's been worried about her, he just wants to have a fucking conversation with her, he misses her. Why is she acting like this?
Seeing no escape, Rebecca breaks down and admits - it wasn't because she realized he had feelings for her that she broke things off with him, it's because she had feelings for him. She never really realized it (or at least never admitted it to herself) until that night, but it scared her. And it scared her even more that he seemed into her too, because that would make it even harder to pretend like things were normal. She was worried that if she tried to talk to him about it, if she let him know how she felt, they'd do something she'd regret, so she decided it would be better for them both to make a clean break.
Todd looks at her incredulously, and scoffs sadly. Well, she was right about that. Now that he knows how she feels about him, he DOES want to do something they might regret later. She shrinks back, but he closes the gap, gently extending his arm out to the wall to discourage her from leaving the room or retreating further. He wants to make up for lost time. He wants her to make it up to him. He wants to kiss her. Can he kiss her? She takes a deep sigh, bites her lip... she's determined to say no, but despite herself she says 'yes'.

The doctor smiles politely and says 'Well, we have your contact information now so if more of these opportunities come along, we'll be sure to contact you.' He finishes taking her blood pressure, notes something on his clipboard, and then tells her he'll take her heart rate now. 'Do I have permission to touch your chest?' Jamie looks taken aback - she supposes so, but don't they usually check at the neck? 'I prefer my own methods,' the doctor insists, and reaches his hand towards her chest to feel her heart. Again, his hand brushes her breasts - this time he doesn't apologize. Jamie looks a bit flustered and is about to speak up, but thinks better of it.
After a long awkward moment, the doctor releases his hand from her chest and notes something on the clipboard. He pats his legs, stands up, and says great - they're ready to get started! Jamie realizes how bad she needs the compensation, and holds her tongue. 'What's next, then?' she asks. He tells her to go grab the exercise mat a few feet away. As she turns around to fetch it, he runs his finger along the sweaty bike seat and then sniffs or licks his fingertip.
Once the mat's in place in the floor center, the doctor proceeds to have Jamie remove her shoes and socks, and then do various flexibility tests - bend over and touch your toes, sit legs spread and reach forward, assume various yoga poses... he licks his lips as he watches each of these poses, which thanks to her sweat-drenched clothes and no bra are extremely revealing.
